Scott Fellows is a Southern California Native and UCLA graduate. In the early 70’s, he moved to the South Bay and founded Critic’s Choice Catering, originally known as Scott’s Seafood Show. He owes much of his successful business to his love of entertaining. In his spare time, Scott loves to volunteer his time and resources for both church and community activities. He also love playing the role as Dad, to his two beautiful children and husband to his wife and business partner, Michelle Paul of 30+ years.

Michelle Paul was born and raised in Manheim, Germany and moved to the Big Apple as a young immigrant child. She began her career in food and beverage as a owner and bartender of the East Coast’s premiere Bartending & Staffing agency, Hey Bartender. It was in 1984 that she moved to Manhattan Beach to pursue her passions and ended up meeting Scott at an industry mixer and claims, it was love at first sight. It wasn’t long afterwards that they decided to merge Hey Bartender and Scott’s Seafood Show in 1986, creating Critic’s Choice. In her spare time she loves to craft, travel the world and explore new international cuisines.

Kaycie Fellows is a South Bay born and raised native. She began her career in the entertainment industry with the world’s largest production company, Live Nation. Working in Entertainment, Production and Artist Relations for nearly 10 years - her passions have brought her around the world creating events. She joined Critic’s Choice as Project Manager and with her passion, keen eye for business and design, she quickly worked her way from Director of Business Development, to lead Event Designer and Director of our wonderful company. On a day to day basis, you can find her designing and coordinating Weddings and Special Events, as she curates more than 100+ events a year. In her spare time she loves to meditate, run on the beach, travel and oddly enough, work.

Tracy, originally born back in San Francisco, moved to Los Angeles back in 1980. She joined the Critic’s Choice team in 2007 and quickly moved her way from Event Specialist to Accounting Manager. Not only is she a mother of two and a grandmother of three, Tracy is the brains of our office. In her spare time, she loves to watch her grandchildren play sports, considering herself their biggest cheerleader. She absolutely loves to put together delicious menus for her corporate clients and when it comes to our couples, she’s the best at keeping them organized and on track with their contracts and payments.

Mia joined the Critic’s Choice team in 2017 and what an incredible addition she is to our family. When she’s not planning and coordinating weddings or special events, Mia loves spending time with her own family. As a mother of two young children, life always keeps her on her toes. She uses her natural organization skills with clients and is passionate about each event she creates. She has an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to transform any space into a masterpiece. She thrives on creating unique designs and authentically enjoys brining every couples’s dream wedding to life.

Originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, Eddie moved to the U.S. to pursue his career in the Food and Beverage industry in the early 2000s. He’s had the honor and pleasure of running kitchens at the Hilton Hotel chain, Cheesecake Factory and the Strand House in Manhattan Beach. Before Starting his career with Critic’s Choice, he’s worked for numerous celebrities as a Private Chef. In his spare time, he loves to be with he is son and wife, teaching them every day life and cooking skills. Eddie is the mastermind behind a lot of our most popular dishes and if you you’ve tried our Marsala, Roasted Red Pepper Sauce or Chimichurri, be sure to thank him when you see him next!

Lorraine started her career in Food and Beverage while traveling in Australia, working as a cook on fishing boats. Once back home in California, she began to work at the Seal Beach Inn and Gardens, as their Kitchen Manager and Cook. From there, Lorraine worked for various Catering companies, as Director and Manager of Events. She eventually started her own catering company, in connection with her own wedding and event coordinating services. She’s now been at Critic’s Choice for over 6 years and she remains incredibly passionate about catering and continues to deliver her client’s their vision - both big and small. When Lorraine isn’t working, you can find her cycling at the beach or spending time with her family.

Meet Cynthia Walls, the glue to our Warehouse and Delivery department. We’ve been blessed to have Cynthia on our team since 2006 and without her, a lot of what we do wouldn’t be possible. Not only is she in charge of scheduling all of our day to day deliveries, she keeps our warehouse tidy, organized and in tip-top shape. In her spare time, she is a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. It’s nearly impossible to find her without a smile on her face - it’s her positive infectious energy that brings joy to not only our staff but to all of our amazing clients.

Stephanie Trammer is a Redondo Beach native and one of the founding members of Critic’s Choice. She began her career in the entertainment industry as a musician in numerous bands around the Los Angeles area. She sets up one gorgeous buffet and when it comes to High Teas - she’s your girl. In her spare time, she loves to take care of her 90+ year old father and spend time with her new Maltese, Baby.
